Anna, a Connecticut native, is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Middlebury College where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature and Music. While at Middlebury, Anna worked as a Research Assistant for the Religious Ethics and Ethnomusicology Departments; she was the Music Director of the Paradiddles, the all-female a cappella group; a Section Leader of the Middlebury College Choir; was a member of the “Feminist Action at Middlebury” organization; and was a member of the Ultimate Frisbee team. At Middlebury, Anna received the Barbara J. Buchanan ’62 Memorial Prize which is awarded to a senior woman for academic excellence and community service. Immediately following her undergraduate work, Anna followed her passion for academia and enrolled at Dartmouth College to pursue a one-year Master’s Degree in Comparative Literature which she completed this past spring. While at Dartmouth Anna was a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Graduate Student Council Representative. At Taft, Anna will be the Mailliard Fellow and will work as the Penn Teaching Fellow in French. Outside of the classroom, Anna will be an assistant coach for JV Volleyball, assistant coach for Thirds Girls’ Basketball and Ultimate Frisbee. She will reside in Centennial.
