Q: What is the key difference between the new ip phone and my old phone?
A: The key difference is that the ip phone functions over the network, the same as your computer, whereas the old phone functioned
over a traditional phone line. One advantage of this is mobility. If you move offices then you can simply plug your phone's network cable back in at your new office and be up and running with the same extension number.
Q: Do I have to re-record my voicemail greeting?
A: Yes, you will need to record a new voicemail greeting and change your passcode.
Q: How do I access my voicemail?
A: Press the "Voicemail" softkey on your phone. Then enter your passcode.
Q: How do you record an out of office greeting?
A: In the new voice mail system it is called your extended absences greeting.
- After accessing your voice mail.
- Press 8 for user options.
- Press 4 to change your greetings.
- Press 4 to change your extended absences greeting.
- Follow the prompts.
Q: How do I transfer a caller directly to somebody's voice mailbox?
A: You receive a call. To transfer the caller directly to somebody's voicemail:
- Press the Message key on your phone (the message button has a picture of an envelope on it).
- Enter the persons exentsion number.
- Then hang up.
Q: How do I program a speed call on my phone?

Q: How can I adjust the brightness/contrast of the display?
A: Press the phone's "Application" button. Then press the "Settings" softkey. Then press the "Brightness and Contrast" softkey. Then adjust
the brightness and contrast by pressing the appropriate softkey. When finished press "Save" to save your settings.
Q: My phone's display has changed. I don't see the Phone Book, Voicemail, Call History options and my extension appearances anymore. What can I do to fix it?
A: Your new phone has three dispaly
pages. You can see what page you are on by looking at the bottom of your phone's display. Press the phone's "Navigation Page Keys" to navigate to the main page (page 1)
