TUITION AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Early Bird Tuition ENDS April 30


E/B Online Workshop fee: $800 per week
E/B Commuter Workshop fee: $950 per week
E/B Boarder Workshop fee: $1250 per week


The registration fee includes 30 hours or (60 hours if it is a two week workshop) of training with a seasoned educator and an expert in their field, all pertinent subject-specific materials, handouts and materials from your instructor.

Registration is NOT complete until registration information has been processed internally and payment has been received. To guarantee your space in the workshop, payment in full must be received by the Taft Educational Center office.

Your application will be placed in a "
hold file" and you will not be placed into the workshop until TEC has received confirmation of payment.

Please do not assume that you are accepted into a workshop. If you do not receive an email from the TEC office in a reasonable amount of time, please call us to inquire on the status of your application.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Workshop session participants who have registered by June 1 may receive a full tuition refund if they make a request in writing to the TEC office before June 1. All cancellations received on or after June 1 will be charged a $300 cancellation fee.

If a cancellation request is made on or after June 1, TEC will accept a replacement participant from the same school. Participants in workshop sessions that are canceled by TEC for any reason receive full refunds.

"No-shows" will be responsible for full tuition fee payment.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

We are no longer accepting purchase orders from schools or school districts as payment for any online workshops.

We will still accept Purchase Orders for any
On Campus workshop until June 14th.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

Credit card information should be entered at the time of the application. Your credit card will be charged the full amount at that time.

College Board Scholarship Acceptance

If you have received a scholarship award from the College Board, please email your acceptance letter to Alison Oriente (tecinfo@taftschool.org) for processing.
Please note that the acceptance letter must be emailed in to complete the registration process.

If you have applied for the scholarship and have not heard back from the College Board and are concerned that the workshop will fill, please call Alison at 860 945-7837.

CEU AND OPTIONAL GRADUATE CREDITS


Participants receive grades in all workshops and can earn 3 graduate credits per workshop week through our association with the University of Hartford.

An additional fee is paid directly to the University of Hartford. The TEC will email forms directly to each participant on the Friday they complete the workshop. Participants can apply for credits up to three years after taking a workshop.

Participants also earn up to 30 contact hours per workshop week, based on attendance.
